Jetstar Baggage Allowances - Economy and Business Check-In

Economy carry-on

1 bag up to 7kgs for Starter, Plus and Max fares, 1 bag up to 14kgs for Flex fares. Your bag may be up to 56 + 36 + 23 cms. You may also take 1 small personal item such as a small handbag, thin laptop, coat etc

You may pre-purchase an additional 7kgs on all fares except Flex fares. If you have a Flex fare or have purchased additional carry on, size & piece limits apply - max 2 items with 1 main item weighing no more than 10kg and must be able to fit in the overhead locker and not exceed 56 + 36 + 23 cms. your second item must fit under seat in front, includes items such as a handbag or thin laptop bag. Excess carry-on baggage fees will apply to items exceeding 14kg allowance. Limited availability. Available on selected routes only.

Economy check-in

Please refer to your ticket for kgs permitted. Each passenger can purchase up to 40kgs of checked baggage. No individual item can weigh more than 32kgs.

Any baggage item longer than 1 metre in any direction is considered an oversized item for which a handling fee applies on top of the weight allowance purchased.

Infants do not have a carry on or check in baggage allowance however you may check in a pram, stroller or portable cot for free.

Business carry-on

2 bags up to 14kgs total. Each bag may be up to 56 + 36 + 23 cms. You may also take 1 small personal item such as a small handbag, thin laptop, coat etc
